At long last... a blog to show all about the highs and lows of Malay Gangsta FC. If any of you has any other suggestions for a team name, please do post a comment here k?

We will try to take a team photo once we make our jerseys. =) hahaha every team should have one and as a Semi-Pro team toiling hard to make it in the real world of Singapore Samba soccer, we too, shall follow suit.

If you didn't already know, team Malay Gangsta FC has its aims too.. We are currently a batch of 20-23years old players sharing the same dream. To portray brilliance on the field, everytime.. We have aims of joining Division 8 or 7 once we are ready and thus, in roughly around 8 years, we would have made it into the S-league! Then, we would have reached our peak standard in terms of stamina, ball control, style, physique and skill..

Before we tend to forget, I have decided to put up all our previous games' scores and statistics. Please assist to comment if i have got anything wrong.. We are only human after all..

1) vs Ex-SJI 3-5 Padang Sawah
2) vs Team CD 4-3 Tracom
3) vs Ex-SJI 3-4 Tracom
4) vs Ex-AJC 1- 3 Gan Eng Seng
5) vs team Mr Seah 3-2 JJC
6) vs Tradoc 4-1 Tracom
7) vs Team Mirza 4-4 Punggol (8 a-side)
8) vs Mamak 3-5 Tracom
9) vs team CD 2-6 Marina (we had 8 players)
10) vs team Iskandar 5-3 Jurong West

11) vs team Coca Cola 2-3 Dunearn Sec

I shall post the jerseys selectio for you guys to make a wise decision and come to a conclusion for our team jersey. We are also looking for seconders to the idea of buying polo tees to wear before every game, before changing into our jerseys.. Kater Semi-Pro.. =)

K lah, looking forward to your comments and such.. Non-members can also drop their well-wishes to Team Malay Gangsta FC as we are always happy to receive your support.. Maybe we can also form our own Fan Club once we reach division 3 or 2..

Slamatzz...

Singapore Idol 2006

Hi everyone! Seems like a lot has been happening in this world of entertainment eh? hahhahha well, it seems dat many have mixed reactions with regards to one of the most popular tv shows t hit our tiny island of Singapore; Singapore Idol!!

I personally feel that it boils down to a question of age difference and the mindsets which suit the various generations.. *chehh debabb* But its truee!! Just look at the current batch of singers, if you can call half of them that.. hahahhahha Im not stating this cos i think im a better singer lah.. cos i cant sing for nuts.. but its just dat if we compare the current standard to the ones that malaysia and indonesia has.. we are indeed kinda sad..

Let's just compare this year to last Singapore Idol! at this stage, there was still Taufiq, Olinda, Sly, Leandra, and the little girl as well! they could sing !! we all knew it! but this year, can u hear what is being presented on live tee veee??? aiyoh ma.. but we cant blame anyone else except the judges themselves.. they had cut down the talent search to these few people! they gave us the few singers to choose from and in turn, we made the ghastly mistakes which could represent the Singapore singing brand in the world arena!!

Well, about the generation gap thingy.. the current situation is that Singapore is divided into 2 main groups; the "anak abu" and the matured audiences.. The anak abu will simply look for looks and feel that whoever is cute and nice should be the Singapore Idol... They will spend their parents' money voting for those whu cant sing for a dime!! this will result in those whu can sing, being voted out week after week.. =..(

Well, as for the matured audiences, they will see the impact that the younger audiences are causing.. which is throwing away the talented ones from the competition. Thus, they in turn, will not vote as it would be a waste of money.. This will lead to an endless spiral where in the end, 2 very cute characters will end up trying to sing in front of a packed stadium for the Finals! =)

Hope that at least half of this entry wont turn out as predicted so that Singapore's most-acclaimed idol search would still be worth watching the next time round! =)
